Coming back from a day of fishing is hard work for a flats boat guide. In fact, it’s exhausting.

Most of the day, I spend my time up on the platform, poling the boat along, searching for fish.

When I get back home, the last thing I have the energy to do is sit down at a computer and respond to all of the e-mails I would get. I usually have my work cut out, preparing fresh gear for the next day’s charter.
